climber with branching, twining stems and short-stalked oblong-elliptic leaves 4" long deep green above and light green underneath; erect arching panicles of 8 - 14" small violet blue flowers; grows to 30 ft.

CULTIVATION:
water moderately; fertilize monthly; full sun

PROPAGATION:
stem cuttings or seed
